# Use your notepad offline

Keep writing when your connection drops, after Notepea has finished preparing offline access.

## Open Notepea while connected

Open Notepea and wait for the offline-ready message. You can then continue using the app in the same browser when you lose your connection. Some help pages still need an internet connection.

## Find your notes again

Return using the same browser and device. A private window or a different browser has separate storage, so it will not show the same notes.

## Keep a backup

Notes stay on your device and do not sync automatically. Export a backup before clearing browser data, changing devices or reinstalling your browser.
