Calculate a total
Create a spreadsheet and enter numbers in A1 and A2. Enter =SUM(A1:A2) in A3 to add them. Check the displayed result before using it in your work.
Find and format rows
Use filters to narrow the rows you see. Apply number formats, colors and borders to make your table easier to read. Clear filters before pasting a large block of cells.
Import and export
Open CSV, TSV or XLSX files to work with their contents. Complex Excel features and formatting may not transfer completely. Keep the original file and check formulas after importing.
